With CGM, there should have a time of testimony, to glorify what God have done for us in our life. Yea?!

let's really thank God for His protection upon Elyn on her way to CGM, as the bus just jam break and it almost went into accident. God's angels are indeed protecting us in times of trouble.

Thank God for the good results she have for her biology test. Not only good result, but also being the top in class! Woot~ She have really been a good testimony in her studies!
Kai Lin
1. Thank God for strength for school during the week as she have been having fever. And total healing of her fever. Indeed God is our healer & source of strength.
2. Thank God for the openess of the poly-mates she have.
Alex
Here's another healing testimony! Despite of the fever Alex got, he still continue to go to school. Thank God of the strength that sustain him through the week.

1. Thank God for a closer relationship between Sindy and her dad.
2. Thank God for the good result she have for the first day in school, she scored a B! On top of that the questions that others dunno, she manage to solve it. Woot~
3. Thank God for the boldness in making new friends. And we all know that, before she go to school, she PRAYED! =D

1. Thank God of the good results he got for his module(Business Statistics). Desmond shared that he almost failed all his maths during secondary school. But now in this module, he got an A! On top of that, he is the top 3 in class. And the exam is held at the week where Easter drama rehersal going on.
2. Thank God for the HAPPENING people that God have placed in his life. Not just church but army too. Last week when he went back to reservist once again his section got the Most Happening Section Award. Woot!

Learning to Trust the Master by Max Lucado (Next Door Savior)
A man and his dog are in the same car.
The dog howls bright-moon-in-the-middle-of-the-night caterwauling howls.
The man pleads, promising a daily delivery of dog biscuit bouquets if only the hound will hush.
After all, it's only a car wash.
Never occurred to him--ahem, to me--that the car wash would scare my dog.
But it did.
Placing myself in her paws, I can see why.
A huge, noisy machine presses toward us, pounding our window with water, banging against the door with brushes.
Duck! We're under attack.
"Don't panic. The car wash was my idea."
"I've done this before." "It's for our own good."
Ever tried to explain a car wash to a canine?
Dog dictionaries are minus the words brush and detail job.
My words fell on fallen flaps.
Nothing helped.
She just did what dogs do; she wailed.
Actually, she did what we do.
Don't we howl?
Not at car washes perhaps but at hospital stays and job transfers.
Let the economy go south or the kids move north, and we have a wail of a time.
And when our Master explains what's happening, we react as if he's speaking Yalunka.
We don't understand a word he says.
Is your world wet and wild?
God's greatest blessings often come costumed as disasters.
Any doubters need to do nothing more than ascend the hill of Calvary.
Jerusalem's collective opinion that Friday was this: Jesus is finished.
Such is the view of the disciples, the opinion of the friends, and the outlook of the enemies.
Label it the dog-in-the-passenger-seat view.
The Master who sits behind the wheel thinks differently.
God is not surprised.
His plan is right on schedule.
Even in--especially in--death, Christ is still the king, the king over his own crucifixion.
Can't he do the same for you?

Some of you doubt it.
How can God use cancer or death or divorce?
Simple.
He's smarter than we are.
He is to you what I was to four-year-old Amy.
I met her at a bookstore.
She asked me if I would sign her children's book.
When I asked her name, she watched as I began to write, "To Amy ..."
She stopped me right there.
With wide eyes and open mouth, she asked, "How did you know how to spell my name?"
She was awed.
You aren't.
You know the difference between the knowledge of a child and an adult.
Can you imagine the difference between the wisdom of a human and the wisdom of God?
What is impossible to us is like spelling "Amy" to him.
"For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts" (Isa. 55:9).
I keep taking Molly to the car wash.

Testimony Time! (7 March 2009)
Fiona
1. Thank God for the favor of men. She waited for a cab for 20mins in heavy rain. She prayed for a cab, finally a cab stopped. The taxi driver gave her gave her tissue and umbrella, and treat her very nicely.
2. Thank God for the blessing as Heng Hui blessed her with a Fahrenheit CD.
Heng Hui
Thank God for blessing as her mum blessed her with $260 on top of her daily allowence.
Joanna
1. Thank God for the peace of God upon her. As she had a formal observation, it decide whether she pass her practicum or not. She is reminded of a verse in Zechariah 4:6 "Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, .."
2. Thank God for the good grades, when she teaches the class, she seems to be confident like a experience teacher.
Desmond
His SOT-mate from India came to Singapore to find a job as God spoked to him that He will give him a job in 12months. At the 11th month, he got a job as a IT head of Asia Pacific Company. In the midst of an economic downturn, God gave him a job of 4.5k. And after he had a chat with the VP of the company, he increased his salary to 6k, as he said that God spoked to the VP to increase his pay. Wow! God is never late, but He is always on time! At the 11th God gave him a job! And not just that God gave him a good salary, indeed God is a God of abundance!
His SOT-mate also shared about his new member. He told him that he got retrenched, but is also said that he got FAITH! Wow! Even in this economic downturn, his faith is not shaken but he still stand strong in the faith he had and believing for what God is going to do in his life.

Testimony Time! (28 February 2009)
As what the title suggests, we gonna open up a section for testimony that our dearest members shares their testimony during CGM!
John Chang
1. He is in the senior swimming team despite being a freshmen in school! And is the ONLY year 1 in the senior team too! woot~ Go on and shine for God in school!
2. He is blessed with 2 bags within 2 weeks! Thanks God for the blessing he had!
Jerlyn
She got a new handphone line and it's being blessed by her cousin! As most of us know that she's dun really get to use her previous handphone, so thank God for it. So now we all could contact her. =D
Delyn
Thank God for the great results she have. She's the 2nd in class for her Chinese test! PTL!
Desmond
1. Thank God for his results. As for his 2nd exam, he got 2nd! Previously for the 1st exam, he got 2nd too! He's really being the salt and light in his school!
2. Thank God for the strength. As there is construction going on around his house, with the dust around, he had throat infection and he can't really sleep well for 2 days. Thank God for the healing and strength as he have his work and classes to manage, and he have been reach home around 12midnight.

2. Thank God for the pay increament and bonus despite of the economic downturn.

Evergreen Place with CityCare!

We had joy, we had fun, and we enjoyed spending our time meaningfully with the Elderly there!

THE SHOWDOWN @ SENTOSA
We are divided into yellow & white team.
First, we starts with ice-breaker the 口香糖 game.
Then with some station games.
1st station We have to rub the soap on ourselves.
2nd station We have to apply wax & powder on ourselves.
3rd station We have to pick out all mentos from a tray of sauce using our mouth.
Next up is the captain's ball games.
Not only using ball but also items like cabbage, bananas & CHICKEN!!
The last game on the beach is water bomb game.
Aim is to destroy our opponent's flag using our water bomb.

This week CGM games was led by Irene! We play 口香糖 = chewing gum.

Serangoon & Hougang Amazing Race
On 6 September, we had a Serangoon & Hougang Amazing Race! There are 3 teams with 3 different routes to different stations.
Station 1
Clue: Place where grandfather met the captain and EAT at the golden M.
Answer: Hougang Mall
Task: "shi zi lu kou"
The food must starts with:
#1 Gan _____
#2 ________
#3 ________
#4 ________
#5 Cai______
#6 ________
#7 ________
#8 ________
#9 Yuan____
* The team that spent the least amount have bonus points.
Station 2
Clue: NOT BLUNT
Answer: Hougang POINT
Task:
a. Send 3 representatives into the restaurant and offer the clear one table for the customers provided they have finished their food. [Take a video of the person clearing the table.]
b. Find a stranger whose name starts with the alphabet “H” and take photo with him/her.
c. Form a star shape with any number of people in the team and take a photo of the star formed.
Station 3
Clue: PUMPING happens
Answer: HEARTland Mall
Task:
a. Solve the photo puzzle; look for the image in the photo and take picture of it.
b. Solve Sudoku.
c. Take 5 photos of any shop with the word “Fa” (chinese character) in the shop name.
Station 4
Clue: SOLVE THE QUESTION.
3(500/5) + (5X4) + √81 = ____
Answer: Blk 329 Serangoon Ave 3 (Joanna's House!)
FEAR FACTOR STATION!!
Every team have to pick a toothpick with colour marking that indicate which bucket they have.
Every team have to pick up ALL the polo sweet from the various buckets!
One bucket with Oil & Noodles.
One bucket with SOTONG!
One bucket with WORMS!!!!
AND...
The 1st one who complete the task is the bucket with SOTONG one!
Then the 2nd one who complete the task is the bucket with Noodles & Oil.
Last but not least, the bucket with WORMS!!
Anyway CONGRATS to ALL brave ones, especially to the team which have the bucket with WORMS! I'm impressed with Heng Hui's speed of picking up those polo sweet among the WORMS!
